Tom Daschle Autograph! ~ January 14, 1982, typed letter on Congress of the United States, House of Representatives, letterhead. Addressed to Abe Pred in Aberdeen, South Dakota. The letter is signed simply Tom. The letter was stuck in a book and forgotten. So, it was saved quite by accident. The edges are worn, battered, and slightly discolored. See my scan. Still this is a nice example of an informal note from Daschle to a long-time South Dakota Democrat. It is an early piece from Daschle's long term in office.
