Philatelistische Mitteilungen, Briefmarkenhaus Karl Hennig, Weimar, Volume VI, Number 8, August 1925 ~ The title roughly translates to Philatelic Messages, Stamp Shop of Karl Hennig in Weimar. The Hennig's is a fascinating story. As I understand it, Karl Hennig began dealing in stamps from his shop in Weimar right around the end of World War One. The business thrived. Karl had customers all over Germany. As the Nazis came to power, Karl joined the party and became something of the unofficial stamp dealer of the Nazi party. When WWII began, Karl's contacts in the armed forces and government spread out all over Europe giving him a unique opportunity to acquire postal history items from across the German Reich. Karl accumulated an incredible inventory of favor cancelled philatelic objects many of which were unique to him. After the war, in 1948, the Hennigs moved their business to the Dominican Republic, as Casa Filatelica Antillana. It was a fairly safe place for minor Nazis.
Anyway, this publication predates all of that. Moderate wear to the covers, some staple rust, GOOD/VERY GOOD.
