Marieluise Claudius ~ Issued by Lloyd Cigarettes in 1936, card #189 of the Bunte Filmbilder series. Card is about the same size as a traditional British or American cigarette card (slightly over 1¼"x2¼"). Excellent condition, see my scan.

Beautiful UFA starlet of the late-Weimar and Nazi era cinema. Marieluise Claudius came from a stage family and showed great promise but she unfortunately died of heart myasthenia on 2 August 1941 in Berlin. Marieluise was only 29.
