Karin Hardt ~ This card #419 from the Bunte Filmbilder cigarette card series. It is a vintage 1937 original. The gilt edges show minor wear but it is still a nice example: F. The card is about the size of a British or American cigarette card (about 1¼"x2¼").

Perhaps best known for her work on the stage, Karin Hardt's best known films of the 1930s were Ein gewisser Herr Gran (1933 (opposite Hans Albers ), Barcarole (1935), Die Umwege des schönen Karl (1938) and Menschen vom Variete (1939). During the war, her film apperences were rare. She starred in Kameraden (1941) and Via Mala (1944). Karin is best known to American audiences for her apperence as Frau Steinhof with Kirk Douglas in Town Without Pity (1961).
