An enlargement of Hart's History of the Discovery of the Valley of the Mississippi (St. Louis, 1852) which extends only to 1748, while the later work gives also the subsequent history. Embossed boards, wear to edges of outside hinges of spine, some foxing, VERY GOOD. This is a very nice copy of a fairly uncommon title.
