Harry Halm ~ This is card #75 from the Monopol Film Bilder cigarette card series. It is a vintage circa 1934 original. The edges show minor wear and the back has paper remnants from being mounted in an album but it is still a very nice example: VF. The card is about 1½"x2¼".
Harry Halm (1901-1980) was a German Jewish film actor. He was the son of the Austrian director Alfred Halm. Beginning in 1923, Halm starred as a dapper charmer and womanizer in many, but not particularly distinctive, silent films. Lilian Harvey was often his leading lady. When the Nazis came to power in 1933, Halm's career came to an abrupt halt.
