Confederate States of America - movie prop $50 bill ~ Reed type #CA-50b, $50, serial #77114 Jefferson Davis, large size, front is black and the back is very dark green on gray paper. Found on page 333 of Show Me the Money. This is a large (about 3 1/8 x 7 3/8) banknote. Very light wear, almost uncirculated. Based on Confederate design elements. Very nicely made! This is a genuine original.

This series of bills came from the Ellis Prop and Graphics house auction and have genuine film bonafides. Unfortunately, Ellis didn't keep track of the films in which these notes were used. We do know that these bills were used in a variety of Westerns and other period pieces. Keep a look-out while watching those old westerns.
