Blackhawk #247 ~ DC Comics, August 1976. Standard US comic format, 30 cent cover price. Dick Giordano cover. Blackhawk has always been my favorite fascist, right up there with Judge Dredd. Anyway, there was an eight year gap between the original gold/silver age series and this bronze age incarnation. DC kept the original series numbering (bonus points to them), however. Although this version was fun it never quite caught on in a comic book market that was already shrinking and it lasted only about a year. This copy is about VF.
