Berthold Ebbecke (1906-1969) was a German actor, screenwriter, and director. He was primarily active between 1936 and 1939 but made a few postwar films. He is perhaps best known for his role of Jan Janicky in Georg Jacoby's 1936 musical Der Bettelstudent aka The Begger Student.
