Claudette Colbert, French born American actress interpreted a number of minor roles on both the stage and screen before finding her niche in Frank Capra's It Happened One Night. Although Colbert won the best actress Oscar for her performance, neither she nor co-star Clark Gable had particularly wanted to make the film. It is for sophisticated comedy that Colbert is best remembered.

This card #162 from Jasmatzi Cigarette's Unsere Bunten Filmbilder series. It is a vintage 1934 original. The gilt edges show some wear but it is still a nice example: VG/F.
